Well i got into this hobby from my father, he always kept a tank in our house and ever since i started living on my own and started a family It just didn't feel like home with out a Tank of my Own. My occupation is US armed Forces.( I drive 18 wheelers for the US AirForce.) I've been stationed in Europe for about 3 years now and Just recently found out i'm Going to have a Child of my own to pass this Amazing hobby on to. Thanks Ryan

Well i have 2 discus,( one red pigeion blood, the other a melon red.) I have 7 Ram Cichlids, 2 cockatoo dwarf cichlids, 2 balla sharks, 2 clown loaches, 2 japenease flying fox, 1 regular pleco, 1 dwarf pearl gourami, and 1 golden Snakeskin gourami.

Advice:
Read, Read, Read, Then ask some questions, and go back and read again. This hobby will drive you crazy if you feel like you don't understand something.

i suggest that you should only get a tank if you are fully committed. Also when i started i had a very small 17l which was hard to keep because the water chemistry changed so quickly. i would say to start with a tank around the size of mine because it is easy to keep healthy.

When trying something new in your tank make sure you are very careful in cleaning it, also making sure the fish you have can't swallow it, and also so they can't hurt themselves on it. But most of all have fun with it.
