The planted tank that doesn't exist anymore, but has a better variant.. couldn't maintain a 5 feet high tank, took up the challenge of growing high light plants with a 5 feet height, its possible but time consuming

Been into fish since 16. Started with siamese and moved to more fresh water with success. Always wanted to deal with cichlids and tried with Discus...big mistake. Set up tank 6mths ago and loving it!!. Hoping to get a 6ft tank soon (if you are reading this hun....it will happen)

3 x Tilapia Buttikoferi, 2 x Yellow labs, 1 x powder blue cichlid, 3 x red zebras, 2 x golden cichlids, 2 x Brichardi Cichlid, Albino, 1 x Acei, 1 x long finned golden pleco, 1 x pleco, 1 x Pudamilia (i think), 1 x dogtooth cichlid (sold to me as a female powder blue), 1 x compressiceps (unidentified/ has shape and similar markings) 1 x rusty cichlid, 5 x Tiger Barbs, Banded Leporinus, Frontosa. All fish stiil young. recently added two male electric blue Johanni Cichlid and a nimbochromis venustus

Advice:
Bigger tanks are easier to keep. Don't put too many fish in a tank. Figure out what fish you want before you buy, you can't give them away most times, and if you put incompatible fish in together it will end badly.

In the tank currently is a Fire Eel, Peacock Eel, 2 African Dwarf Frogs, and an assortment of guppies.

An array of Amazon swords at the back,A few java ferns on the right (that the eels always dig up), and some small tree like plants at the front

Description:
Eel City. The fire eel is in the rocks at the bottom, and the peacock eel is half-buried between the ship and the pot, in the long grass. He's an expert hider.

Research research research and join a good aquatic's facebook group. Watch temperature's many go too cold or too hot. Watch lighting amount 8 hrs is good balance for most fish and plants- some plants will require trimming and care
