Fish store owners need to sell stuff to you no matter what happens to you or your fish. And 3K makes them forget your name.

When starting a new tank, set it up with water and turn it on and let it run for at least 8 weeks and add a very small amount of fish food every other week.

Get the biggest tank you can afford. From my experience the bigger the tank the easier it is to maintain water conditions. Research the water conditions you need for the type of fish you want to keep.

Ive set up a baby tank and i have 9 Blue nyasse, 32 tangarine babys...plus what seems like millions of baby bristlenose plecs lol

Java Fern and 'Onion plants' ... the only plants ive found that they dont like to eat!!!!!

Never rush setting up a new tank...youve only yourself to blame for beeing too impatient, and selfish by not thinking of your fish!
Say bye bye to any other hobby you have...this is by far the best one out there!..Its very addictive but very rewarding!!!!
