To be or not to be...
About Yourself:
I'm a Civil Engineer so I work long hours but I love to relax by watching my fish which are so theraputic.
Started when I was a kid with a bowl and a goldfish and have built up ever since. Now, 20 years on I'm still as mad as ever and have just moved onto keeping Cichlids and i'm loving it.
I'm still learning about cycling the tank and feeding habits and I would be grateful for any comments or advice you can all give.
Fish Kept:
10 African Mbuna Cichlids and 1 7" Plec.
Only just started stocking Cichlids and I love them. The Plec is about 18 months old and still growing.
Corals/Plants:
All natural rocks and 3 plastic plants.
Tank Size:
53 gallons
Advice:
Start simple and build up with experience. Always listen to advice from the experts. Oh, and enjoy it!
Description:
My recently added new Cichlids today. I now have 14 Mbuna Cichlids along with my Plec and I love them. I've also added a few plastic plants to brighten up the tank and I think it looks brilliant. What do you think?

About Yourself:
When I was a kid I always had beta fish tanks. I bought my first 10 gallon freshwater tank when I was 18, then bought a 20 gallon about two years later. Recently I was given a 75 gallon and passed on the 20 gallon to my son. I often find myself transfixed upon the aquariums, they are a very useful destressor!
Fish Kept:
5 cichlids, 3 bala sharks, 2 plecos, 1 danio (survivor!), 1 pacu, and 1 gourami.
Corals/Plants:
plastic
Tank Size:
75 gallons
Advice:
Don't let your husbands buy red-bellied pacus!
