i keep freshwater discus.my advice for newbies would be the bigger discus you could buy the better as the smaller ones tend to get stressed easy.and their immune systems can not adapt as well

my 4 inch angel fish, i seen it in the shop on its own and i went up to the tank and it swam to the front and followed me as i looked around the tank for more, i had to get it

I have the light on most of the time so I have to use algea destroyer, at first
I was scared it would affect the fish, but I got sick of the pearl algea(makes the water look like little beads are in it) but they had no ill effect at all

This all started with 2 cute little Oscars and 1 10 gallon tank... I quickly learned the Oscars Grow pretty fast.. and As I gradually went larger.. I accumulated Tanks. And somewhat of an obsession.

Use common sense...be patient....and know that keeping trop fish isn't as hard as some make it out to be. Almost forgot most importantly DONT FEED YOUR FISH MORE THAN THEY CAN EAT. Several small feedings a day. Is the way to go.
