I have a 46 gallon bowfront . I use Two emp 400s and two powerheads for water movement.
Advice:
Take your time and do your research on the species you want to keep. Don't overcrowd your tank and remember to let your tank cycle.

None, just limestone and native rocks. African Cichlid substrate.

I got hooked first with a 55 gallon and two Oscars, a 100 gallon with two African Clown Knife, a 135 gallon with mixed African Cichlids, and then with my current 46 gallon bowfront. Just love watching them and creating little environments for them to thrive.
