Description: Headlined by my Wild Oscar, Tiger Oscar and Albino Oscar. My cichlid tank uses a Tetra VX300 canister filter and as a backup filter have the EHEIM pickup internal filter to boost circulation and an aqua one LED light. I have jet black gravel laid in a concave effect with Driftwood and Vine across the whole of my tank. Surrounding the wood is river rock to enhance its natural appeal and to anchor my plants. I've used Wisteria, Baby Tears, Blue Stricta, Bamboo, Ambulia and Java Fern to enhance my background, control bio-levels and provide hiding places for the inhabitants.
Advice: The most rewarding aspect of keeping an aquarium is the magic of creating your own bio-system. You honour a responsibility to the livestock, apply creativity and individuality to the design, the continuous drive to improve and develop your skills. Fuelled by your imagination and creativity,| Fish-keeping rewards you with a sense of pride, enjoyment and tranquility when admiring what I can only describe as your own piece of Art
Corals/Plants: I've used Wisteria, Baby Tears, Blue Stricta, Bamboo, Ambulia and Java Fern.
