18 gallons freshwater fish tank (mostly fish and non-living decorations) - This is the largest & best setup I've ever had. I tried to keep it simple with higher quality equipment. It really provides a great partition between my kitchen & living room. I hope to move up to a 75 gallon tank soon. The 40i filter is great but it could HOB. The UV sterilizer rocks!

3 tips for a dramatically better-looking aquarium: 1) use natural medium-sized gravel (those sold for fish tanks-darker than your substrate) 2) get an external filter 3) put a wallpaper with a planted scene on the back. Keep up the effort! fish avatar
