Description: Penguin Biowheel 330, plain ol' blue background, florescent lights that came with the tank .Not sure about the heater. I had natural pebles in there but just swapped them out for pool filter sank($4.99 for a 50 lbs bag). I found amost 100 lbs of river rock(free)
Advice: research the internet....it is your friend
Fish Kept: 1 jewel cichlid 1 pictus catfish moving them into another tank and getting ready to add 6 yallow labs and 4 cynotilapia afras
Corals/Plants: fake
Tank Size: 55 gallons

Pool filter sand? Wow, never thought of that (nice find) does it seem to work pretty good with your cichlids? I just got a 55 gal and now I'm definetly considering pool filter sand. Nice set-up fish avatar
how did you clean your river rocks? i collected some from a river and i wasn't sure if i could make some sort of solution to soak them in? any advice? fish avatar
