Description:
300 gallon in wall salt water reef tank with hidden tank room. Details coming later. I'm a busy guy. This is the first post of my reef tank, which has been setup for about 4 months now.
Lighting:
4x - 250w Icecap HQI - 10k
2x - 660w Icecap VHO - retro - super actinic / 20k
4x - power compact - actinic
Pumps -
2x dolphin marine
4x - eco tech marine magnetic
Advice:
don't be a slacker. pay attention to the details. use natural processes. don't overcomplicate things. test, test, test. automate as much as is practical to minimize human error (within reason). use the web...there's a wealth of research online. google is your friend.
Fish Kept:
Harlequin Tusk, 2x Minneatus Grouper, Clarkii clown (female), Dwarf Red Volitan Lion, Coral Beauty, Purple Tang, Black and White Striped Damsel, Assorted starfish (blue & orange), 3x large rose bubble anemones
Corals/Plants:
Assorted soft leathers - kenya tree, sinularia, finger leather, toadstool leather, anthelia, xenia, discosoma, ricordea, zooanthids, star polyp, bubble, hammer, frogspawn, fire coral, encrusting gorgonia, galazia, assorted sponges, 2x zig zag oysters, candy cane coral.
