Description: 40 GAL Reef. equiped with10 gallon self built acrylic sump with: Reef Octopus nw-110 protien skimmer, an Eshopps pf 300 overflow and a Rio 1700 return pump. Hydor Koralia 2 circulation pump, 5 Current usa powerbrite linking moduels (460nm) for a nice shimmer over the T5 retrofit kit 1x 10,000k and 1x 420nm super actinic...all set to timers. I use RO water for water changes and to top off evaporated water. The substrate is Aragonite live sand (fiji pink)-40lbs. and Instant Ocean Reef Crystals. also adding B-Ionic alkalinity and calcium components twice a week along with Purple-up.
Fish Kept: 2 percula clowns (pair), 1 green chromis and 1 sand sifting star fish, snails, crabs ect.. tank has only been up since...12/10/07 (starting date)
Corals/Plants: green button polyps, blue zoos, various sponges, leather coral, huge blue mushroom rock, Kenya tree, green bubble tip anemone, star polyps, green frogspawn, green fuzzy mushrooms, blue clocea clam, orange zoos, open green brain, red Montipora, orange montipora, green candy cane coral, red Acropora, pink zoos, green zoos, red zoos.
