State: Ohio
Country: United States
Description: 125 long freswater, natural stone, artifical plants (duh) flourecent full spectrum , 2 magnum 350 external canisters 1 w/biowheel pro 2-inline ETH heaters (200 w each) Custom built it myself stand...Just became a community tank after 9 years as a Malwi /south african tank
Advice: Im new to the INLINE EXTERNAL HEATERS but wow...much less clutter in the tank....also stopped using undergravel filters 5 years ago.
Fish Kept: Barbs, Peacock Eels, Botia, Danio, Loaches, Spotted Cats , Rainbow sharks, Male dwarf, Moonlight and Yellow Gourami , Rubber Plecos . all seem to get along...tried to tell the kids "no we cant get those pretty neon tetras...barbs will eat em." "oh pleeeeeease daddy????" ok fine... "hey daddy where did all the pretty little tetras go??" Tried to tell ya....tiger barb snacks!!" follwed by crying kids for an hour!!!
Corals/Plants: real lace and petrified wood...fake plants
Tank Size: 125 gallons
About Yourself: casual hobbiest but had 125 gal tanks for 25 years now...seems like the community tank is more fun than the Cichlids but time will tell.
