Description: This is my wife and I's first fish tank. Its a 55gal. We are running a tetra-tech 300 with a built in heater. We have a wisper flo air pump. The substrate is regular pool filter sand. We have 10-15lbs of lava rock on each corner, and about 20lbs of plumb creek slate in the middle.
Advice: Research, Research, Research.....Oh yea, and find a forum dedicated to the kind of fish you are planning on keeping. Oh yea one more thing I almost forgot. RESEARCH!!!!!!!
Fish Kept: My mom used to keep, neon tetras, swordtales, and sharks. The Featured tank is still cycling, but as of 07-31-2005 We should be putting in our first group of Malawi Cichlids, with some friends....
