Description: 55 gallon tall planted tank. Topsoil as substrate. Using Satellite Plus Pro LED lighting and Hydor Pro 350 canister filter. Inline 300w heater and Koralia Evolution 600 water pump. Restarted tank Mid Dec 2017.
Advice: If you want Corydora's, i.e. whiskers use pool filter sand vs gravel.
Fish Kept: Zebra Danio, Angelfish, Rasbora Tetras, Redfin Corydora's, Chinese algae eaters.
Corals/Plants: Ludwigia, Red Flame Sword, Mermaid, Wendtii green, Temple plant, Cardinal plant, Micro Sword
Tank Size: 55 gallons
About Yourself: Been in and out of fresh water aquarium hobby. This time able to do a lot of research thru websites. Read "Ecology of the Planted Aquarium" by Diana Walstad. Recommend last chapter 'Practical Aquarium Setup and Maintenance.
