Late response but, I visited Austin's Aquarium, in Texas and the enormous 4 ft deep or so tropical freshwater tank had their Dwarf Gouramis in a school of just 4. 10 gallons is small but 2-3 dwarfs will be max. The other species, that the professional aquarium had, with the Gouramis, included a few schools of Neon & skirt like tetras, dainos & corys. Of-course, those schools were 8, 20 & up to 50+ for dainos. The Gouramis schooled. fish avatar
