Description: we started our 46 gallon 2/22/08. the tank is an all glass tank, with a Hagen Glo T5 HO Lighting System , Double tube 36" and a Rena XP2 canister fiilter. were hoping to eventualy do salt but we want to do mor reaserch and have a place we know we are going to stay at for a long time first.we also have a 10G with a feeder goldfish that is about5-6" long now
Advice: Start your tank right. dont cheap out on equipment and suplies. the better your equipment is the less maintenece. also be sure go get some kind of algey eater if you can they help a ton.
Fish Kept: Cichlids and algey eaters. the cichlids Our algey eaters consist of 2 chinese sucker fish and 2 flying foxes.
Corals/Plants: none that are live want to do small corials and other salt plants when we do salt
Tank Size: 46 gallons
About Yourself: me and my fiance just started our 46g. we both work at bridges in lake stevens, wa and want to eventualy do salt after alot of Research.
