More Info

Country: Mexico
Description: Tank: 29 gallons. LED lights (bought over the internet for 5 pounds).
Advice: Use hard species, use a filter of synthetic cotton if you want ultra transparent water, nothing fancy about filters, the classic plastic cube is the best. The neon tetras always require to be tempered before adding them to the tank. Best cure for Ich, temperature. Always add a small plant to close the nitrogen cycle and avoid toxicity.
Fish Kept: 18 tetra neon, 5 golden mollies, 2 honey gouramies, 1 plecostomus, 6 platties, 3 yoyo loaches, 3 java loaches, 3 kuhlli loaches, 5 apple snails, 1 male betta.
Corals/Plants: Only a small branch of fox tail. The rest are synthethic.
Tank Size: 29 gallons
Quote: Always buy fish only from sustainable sources.
