More Info

Country: Australia
Description: Custom made 6x2x2. I use a single 4ft T8 fluro 10,000K (Homemade) (Next on list to update), Filtration includes 9sq.ft of UGF with three 2000lt/hr powerheads as well as as Sacem Marathon 2000 cannister that includes extra coarse (custom) inserts too increase biological filtration. Heating is taken care off by 3 200w stainless steel viaAqua heaters.
Advice: Don't rush to add fish to your tank, make sure it is cycled properly. Buy as much filtration as you can afford. Buy only fish that a compatable with your tank and it's set up. Also only buy good, clean, colorful stock. A little bit of extra money here saves much disapointment later.
Fish Kept: ‘Red Empress’ Protomelas taeniolatus ‘Pearl of Likoma’ Melanochromis joanjohnsonae ‘Blue Acara’ Aequidens pulcher (I know they have to go. But I started with these guys and well ...... ) ‘Electric Yellow’ Labidochromis caeruleus ‘Common Bristlenose’ Ancistrus sp ‘Leopard Pleco’ Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps Pseudotropheus Saulosi
Corals/Plants: anubias alferi anubias sp. plus the large etch ... (this is going too).
Tank Size: 160 gallons
Quote: Don't guess, test, look, and learn.
About Yourself: Had fish years ago as a kid, now an adult I can better justify the expence. In six months I've gone from 1 5gal tank to this including three breeding tanks. O' what a twisted web we weave.......
