Description: This project started when I saw an overflowing ZeroEdge aquarium at my local Aquarium Adventure, and had to have one. I knew I couldn't afford a real one, so I made due with a typical glass fish tank. I went with a tiny 5 gallon tank because in the fall I plan to move this to my dorm. The tank sits almost level with the counter, only a small black trough is below. Water actually flows underneath the tank to the back drain and then down to the sump. My current sump is just a plastic tub, but this setup is flexible, and I could even use a bucket placed a few feet out of the way as a sump and it would still work.
Advice: none, I'm a noob myself!
Corals/Plants: Whatever the pet store said was hardy :P
Tank Size: 5 gallons
