Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff!
About Yourself:
I started with a really small 10 gal tank...
My platys started having tonnes of babies, so I decided to upgrade my aquarium and get into live plants.
Fish Kept:
gouramis, platys, cardinal tetras, white skirt tetras, pleco, albino cory, electric blue lobster, feeder shrimp (yeah, they're supposed to be food, but they keep reproducing!)
Corals/Plants:
narrow leaf bacopa, cambomba, amazon sword, java moss, banana plant, red tiger lotus, a few artificial plants
Tank Size:
35 gallons
Advice:
Knowledge and patience is key...I have lost many fish and some plants to my inexperience and lack of patience. (I didn't research the electric blue lobster before I threw him in the mix, and realized afterward what a great hunter he is - I have lost MANY platys this way....)

About Yourself:
I have 2 young kids, and need something to do around our boring house.....this is my hobby!

3 lil shark like fish
2 Clown loaches
2 small plecos
Corals/Plants:
Unsure which plants . I got assortment now, This picture is outdated .
Tank Size:
55 gallons
Advice:
I'm kinda new, biggest thing that helped me is trial in error. Don't ever expect to do this hobby be new and have it perfect. Once you get into plants tanks or saltwater good luck a lot of work to get it where you want it, then it's fairly easy from there.

About Yourself:
I am a 28yr old male and in the Military, so I am not sure of how long I will be keeping this fish tank. But My plans are to buy a 200 gallon and do the salt water thing and start cheap, at least until I get the hang of it. So good luck to all of you that are seasoned vets and keep fishing.
Fish Kept:
There are six various African Cichlids and two "Fancy Oscars" although I am not sure why they are fancy. I also have two Pleco's in there as well.
Corals/Plants:
There are only two fake plants in my tank the rest are planted. My plans are to set in place some Java Moss. I am going to tie the moss to the various objects in the tank. And line half of the bottom with Star Moss and Flame moss. But first I wanna see how the Oscars do with the plants I have now.
Tank Size:
75 gallons
Advice:
I my self am a new hobbyist so I cant give any advice. But sooner or later I will be able too
Description:
Well here it is. Not bad for my first fish tank. Least I don't think but that is why its here for you to decide.
