About Yourself:
I have been an on again, off again fish keeper since 1994. Mainly "off again" due to my lack of knowledge. Now that I feel I have the knowledge needed to be fairly successful (time will tell), I am optimistic that I will be more "on again". I already had this tank so I thought I'd test my new knowledge before buying a larger tank, at least 75 gallons (if not larger). This was not the time for me to upgrade for several reasons but, I really wanted to get my tank back up and running as I enjoy the fishes and plants so much. Hopefully, things will go "swimmingly" and I won't lose interest before I buy the larger tank.
Fast Forward to 05-14-2016: I lost interest and this tank is no longer in working order. However, I recently began kicking around the idea of buying the larger tank I mentioned before. I'm not getting any younger so if I'm going to take the plunge, I might have to do it soon!
Fish Kept:
2 Dwarf Otos (Otocinclus affinis), 3 Lemon Tetra (Hyphessobrycon pulchripinnis), 2 Dwarf Gourami - male (Colisa lalia). More to come!
Corals/Plants:
Water Sprite (Ceratopteris Thalictroides), Java Fern (Microsorum Pterous), Narrow Leaf Chain Sword (Echinodorus Tenellus) not doing so well, Radican Sword (Echinodorus Cordifolius) too big for this tank, Red Melon Sword (Echinodorus Barthii) doing very well, Red Wendtii (Cryptocoryne Wendtii) love this plant, very easy to keep and prolific grower

The only plant i am sure of is my java moss and a couple of crypts lol but all plants seem to do well in low light and due to this being my only tank and them being cheap at lfs i just throw them in and hope for the best.
