About Yourself:
I'm just started this hobby 6 months ago. A friend of mine taught me the right way to kept the fish healthy and introduce me to some sifus that can help me setup this giant aquarium (i consider it as i am a newbie). I made a lot of research on how, tips, why, tricks & technique to make this hobby even exiting day by day. Along this learning process, i have killed a lot of fish (my bad.. :-() and now i have successfully setup a healthy & good community in my tanks.

Description:
This giant aquarium, i have spent a lot of money & time to it. i used 2 bags of white sand just to get reflection at the bottom of the tank from the lighting above. i used 2 sets of water filter to keep this tank clear. there is a lot of variety of fish, big & small, but some how i manage to keep them in harmony. I keep most of the plant at one side for the small fish to play around and hide and a bigger space at the other end for big fish play around. The red plant at the right side is some how become a U-trun for my fish to turn when they came to the tank's wall. I need to learn a lot on how to make my tank a heaven for my pets. Please leave comments and ideas on how to make my tank better. Thank you sifus.

Advice:
Take your time, and have fun. But try to plan ahead to save time and money. But ultimately changes are going to happen and that is part of the fun but you can keep the costs down by spending the time planning. And take advantage of sites like craigslist, to allow you to save money and at the same time allow you to probably get a nicer set up than you would if you went to your local fish store.

About Yourself:
pretty new to fish keeping. All started when the wife wouldn't go to petco with me for dog food, and i told her if she comes with me, ill get her something...and she said fine...i want a pretty betta fish. Obviously i had to take care of him. after that, i decided on a 33 gallon bowfront, which i had for 4 months with mostly mollys and my african clawed frog. now recently upgraded a month ago to this 90 gallon, and the only pet that was transferred from the 33 gallon is the clawed frog, who lives seamlessly with the african cichlids.
