SHAKE and BAKE!!!!!!!!
About Yourself:
I got in to this hobby from my old friend to see who had 3 tanks and I loved what he had. I am a Boilermaker from Local 169. I am also looking forward to getting a 150 gallon with Discus as soon as I buy my house.
Fish Kept:
9- Red-Bellied Pirhana
1 Rhino Pleco
1 Dragon Goby (violet goby)
Corals/Plants:
Plastic plants, (easier to clean)
Tank Size:
55 gallons
Advice:
I find that when setting up my tank to let it cycle. Its easier when you drop a dozen gold fish in the tank for a week then remove them. The tank will be cycled then you can start adding you desired fish.

"Plenty of fish in the sea"
About Yourself:
26 year old bartender at applebees i started with a 10 gallon and immediatly got hooked. I live on the third floor at my apartment complex, so i must wait untill i get a 75 gallon salt water tank of my dreams.
Fish Kept:
5 tiger barbs, 2 ruby barbs, 3 albino barbs, 2 kissing gouramis, one powder blue dwarf gourami, 2 chinese alge eaters, and one african dwarf frog
Corals/Plants:
an Aponogeton, 3 amazon sword leaf, an umbrella plant, and a few fake plants
Tank Size:

Advice:
Ive found a large amount of real plants keep fish happy and lower nitrate levels. Growing plants from seeds is a fun way to add some beauty your tank, but it is also hard to grow seeds if the fish pick at the seedlings and your bottom feeders uproot the seeds.
