Advice: Don't underestimate the space that a fish needs to swim, overcrowding either with fish or ornaments is something to avoid!

About Yourself: Just had the itch one day and bought a few Bettas and kept going from there. I have an interest in saltwater tanks, however my pocket book does not currently share the same interest. I just aquired a 120 gallon tank and am in the process of setting it up for saltwater
Fish Kept: Mono Sebae, Russell's Lion, Stonefish, Powder Brown Tang, Spiney Box Puffer, Columbian Shark (catfish).
Corals/Plants: Fake Plants
Tank Size: 120 gallons
Advice: I have this tank and a few other smaller tanks. I recommend beggining with an Eclipse system and reading Freshwater or Saltwater Tanks for Dummies. The Eclipse system comes with everything you need. Make sure you have time for the hobby.

About Yourself: Time to update profile. Moved to NY in January '09. Open to the public, not a petshop, but allowing the residents around here to stop by anytime to see my tanks and buy fish. We have 152 running aquariums now, mainly 55/75, and 30's for grow out, 16 - 350 gallon containment vats for growing out some of the more prolific species, and 2 vats dedicated to breeding our beloved Blue Rainbow tropheus, and Masawa Duboisi tropheus. Total Gallons at this point is undetermined, but ALOT 13,000gallons? somewhere around there.
Fish Kept: in this tank are: OB Red Empress, Labeotropheus Trewavasae, Labidochromis Hongi, Labidochromis Caereleus
Corals/Plants: Black Argonite, Lace rock, Clay caves, filtered by Rena
Tank Size: 90 gallons
Advice: start small and research...research..research., if your going to do it, start small and learn to do it the right way.

About Yourself: 3 1/2 yeare I walked in a pet store and asked what kind of fish were in the tanks. And now I'm on my second 150 gal tank (just put this one together in Oct 09.
Fish Kept: I have mixture of fish from all 3 lakes (malawi, victoria, tanganyika) and few south american goodies. I have 2 phenochoulis, malawi eyebiter, 2 albino peacocks, ob peacoc,, demosoni, parrot, afra cobue, 2 orange compressiceps, black calvus, scribble, cyclindricus, malieri, 3 yoyo loaches, lelepi, electric yellow, blue ahli, hap moori, blue lobster, sunshine peacock, yellow peacock. red kandango, eureeka red, 5 fancy plecos (bushynose, gold nugget, tiger, king tiger, & rhino) and few I can't name off hand.
Corals/Plants: Artificial plants and coral
Tank Size: 150 gallons
Advice: Filtration, filtration, filtration. You can never have enough filtration
