Fish Kept:
2 Glo-Fish, 1 Fantail, 1 Sweetheart Parrot, 1 Pictus Catfish, 1
Plecostomus aka Algae Eater
Corals/Plants:
All Fake... adds more color. For me the colorful the better.
Tank Size:
10 gallons
Advice:
Although I am a "newbie" there is something I have learned along the weeks I have had my new tank. Don't mix tropical with community fish. They don't mix!!! I bought a redcap and he was very aggressive toward my other fish. I gave him to my local fish store for credit. Although I do have a parrot fish he seems friendly toward to the other fish.
Description:
This is my Pictus Catfish. I call her Britney because she is camera shy. :)

About Yourself:
people always want to know why i love goldfish so much when they are the dirtiest and the most incompatible, etc. but no matter what they always make me smile when i want to cry.
Fish Kept:
Goldfish (fancy and common), a butterfly koi (they are usually incompatible with fancy goldfish, but has not caused problems yet), a weather or dojo loach, and a medium plecostomus (i am aware that they are usually incompatible with goldfish, but i have never had problems with it.)
Corals/Plants:
my tropical fish tank has some plants i got from my sister, i dont know exactly what they are. the tropical tank is because of an angry sengel bichir that didn't get along with any other fish i had at the time (although i had kept one peacfully before), he now lives happily with two bolivian rams, a rainbow shark, a large chinese algae eater, and a lot of trapdoor snails.
Tank Size:
30 gallons
Advice:
research before you buy, and make sure of compatibility, possibly with people that have tried it before

About Yourself:
I am 45, with 4 kids in College. I grew up with tanks in my home as a kid. Then as a young adult had a tank until 4 babies took all my time. Now that I have tones more time, I have this 75 gallon for over 5 years. I am so thrilled as we are building in a 180 possibly a 200 gallon tank as a room divider, and will happily transfer these fish into a bigger home. I want to convert this 75 into a reef at that point :D
Fish Kept:
I am a bit over stocked but am getting ready to go to a 180 gallon soon, keep up with frequent water changes.
8 cardinals, 8 Rubies, 5 Boseman, 4 clown loaches, 6 giant danios, bushy nose pleco, 4 hatchets, 2 Congo tetras
Corals/Plants:
